Summer preserving

When strawberries and cherries are at their best, we run the preserving workshops. Jam is simple in principle and fussy in practice.

You'll learn how to test for a set, how to sterilise jars and why the foam should be skimmed with a spoon.

Everybody leaves with jars. Many of them are given away by Christmas.
